Hi! My name is Mrs. Essenberg and I can’t wait to get to know you! We are going to have a lot of fun learning together this year! Second grade is filled with lots of exciting growth and discovery. I am more than ready for the school year to begin!

 

This is my 16th year of teaching and my 7th year teaching at STEAM! I live in South Lyon with my husband, my 7-year-old son, Rowan, and my 4-year-old daughter, Stella. We also have a very playful dog named Bruno. Throughout the year you will hear lots of silly stories about all of them! It’s important to know our other 2nd grade teachers too. We do a lot with them and we try to think of ourselves as one big family. Mrs. Ideson and Mrs. Talmadge are the other 2nd-grade teachers you will get to know this year!
